Colorado Wine Week 2014 begins Sunday, June 1, with a Turntable Keg Wine Party at The Infinite Monkey Theorem Winery, and concludes next Saturday, June 6, with the Colorado Urban Winefest at Infinity Park in Denver. The week promises fun opportunities to sample Colorado wine and food at events around Denver.
* Sunday, June 1: Farm-to-Turntable Keg Wine Party, The Infinite Monkey Theorem
Come to The Infinite Monkey Theorem Winery for wine on tap, paired with five courses of passed food from Denver restaurants. Ticket price includes a glass of wine, food, and entertainment. A portion of the proceeds benefit Heroes Like Us, a chef-driven charity that fights child hunger.

Visit some of the almost 50 different Front Range restaurants participating in Colorado Wine Week to sample Colorado wine and food pairings for $20.00 or less. Visit more than one restaurant each night to maximize your enjoyment of Colorado fare! Among the participating restaurants are 240 Union, Colt & Gray, Cool River Café, Creekside Cellars, Eat+Drink Denver, Jonesy’s EatBar, Food at the Riverside, Jax Glendale, Kate’s Wine Bar, Melting Pot, Panzano, and The Squeaky Bean.
* Wednesday, June 4: Colorado Cocktail Competition, The Green Russell
Come for the Colorado wine cocktails mixed by Denver’s top bartenders, stay to watch the winner crowned. Will it be three-time winner Joe Hines? Competition includes mixologists from Ace, Colt & Gray, Green Russell, The Populist, and Williams & Graham.

* Friday, June 6: Governor’s Cup Wine Mixer, Hyatt Place Cherry Creek
Enjoy tastes of the ten gold medal winning wines from this year’s Governor’s Cup Competition. Meet and mingle with the winemakers and enjoy food from Bad Apple and Slotted Spoon.
